These sources highlight the major organizations which regulate athletics at the college level. Naturally, scholarships offered for athletic skills are based on many factors. Interested students need to be talking to their high school coaches as early as possible in their athletic career.

- Listing of the 400 NAIA member colleges.
- National Junior College Athletic Association
- If you are thinking about playing sports at a junior college, don't miss this site. Gives a wealth of info for prospective student athletes at schools across the United States. These listings might assist you in the sorting out process as you try to get the best "match" for your academic and athletic interests.
- NCAA National Clearinghouse
- NCAA source of info for athletes as well as general topics related to the National Clearinghouse. Organization is key player in initial approval of athletes for play at Division I and II schools. Please note that Division III schools do not offer athletic scholarships.
